The Drill America DWDRSD1-1/8 is a heavy-duty 1-1/8″ reduced shank high-speed steel drill bit from the DWDRSD series, engineered for drilling large-diameter holes in wood, plastic, mild steel, non-ferrous metals, and softer materials. Manufactured from premium M2 high-speed steel with a polished (bright) finish and black oxide flutes, it delivers reliable performance and good chip evacuation at an economical price point. The 1/2″ reduced shank allows this oversized bit to be securely held in standard 1/2″ drill chucks (both keyed and keyless) found on most portable drills and drill presses. Features a conventional 118° point and 3-flats on the shank to prevent slippage in the chuck under high torque.
