The Drill America DWDRSD58 is a 5/8″ reduced shank high-speed steel drill bit from the popular DWDRSD series, designed for drilling larger holes using standard 1/2″ drill chucks. Made from premium M2 high-speed steel with a bright polished body and black oxide flutes, it provides excellent performance and value for general-purpose drilling in wood, plastics, aluminum, brass, non-ferrous metals, and mild steels. The 1/2″ reduced shank features three flats on the shank for a positive, non-slip grip in the chuck—even under high torque. The 118° conventional point works well across a wide range of materials and is easily resharpened.
