The Drill America KFD3F118 is a heavy-duty 1-1/8″ reduced shank high-speed steel (HSS) Black & Gold contractor drill bit from the KFD3F series, optimized for drilling large-diameter holes in iron, steel, aluminum, and other metals. Part of Drill America's premium Black & Gold line, it features a proprietary nitride (gold) coating on the flutes for superior lubricity, heat dissipation, and extended life—up to 3x longer than standard bright HSS bits.
